White Horses
Printed on Giclée Hahnemühle Photo Rag
This image was shot in August 2020, on the beach of Saintes- Maries-de-la-Mer, Camargue - France. They are said to be one of the oldest horse breeds in the world and their distinctive white color is well known.
The white horses of the Camargue are now raised by gypsies and it is not uncommon to meet them at sunset on the beaches where the Rhone meets the sea.
